Kronos Cushion Cover

€57.00

Size: 42cm x 40cm / Pictured with a 40 x 40cm insert

Material: 100% Cotton

Ouranos treated his wife Gaia terribly and was so revolted by their most recent offspring, that he did something unheard of…he pushed them back inside her. Needless to say, she decided to get rid of him by urging her dark, formidable Titan son Kronos to usurp his heartless father.

Kronos was given an exceptionally heavy adamantine scythe, which only he could lift ,and with which he performed a shockingly brutal act on his father. He severed Ouranos’ genitals and trapped him into the depths of the earth. During his downfall, Ouranos cursed his son to suffer the same fate as him.

Kronos couldn’t get the curse out of his mind, he became fearful and anxious and decided to take drastic measures, he decided to consume all of his own babies immediately after birth to prevent the curse from materialising. But after he devoured five babies his wife had enough and she devised a cunning plan to save her new baby, Zeus.

Now as you know Zeus became top god which means – unfortunately for Kronos- he did indeed suffer the same fate as his father.

Here is the mighty Kronos worrying about the curse.
